DEAR FRIENDS OF
LIBERTY..... ACTION NEEDED, YOU ARE INVITED!
ACTION is urgently needed
at this time. I want to personally thank everyone who
contributed to making our Secure The Border rally on August 23
a success. We were able to garner some significant publicity on three
area TV stations in Greenville and in the Greenville News as well as
TV in Charlotte, Columbia and Charleston (and maybe more we don't
know about across the country). As you are well aware, Barack Obama
has stated he will hold off his amnesty for 9 million illegals (with
work permits to take jobs away from American citizens). In addition
to the publicity we got was a Sept. 10 interview with Nelson Waller
on Fox 21, so the newsmedia are now calling us to represent the
common-sense side of the immigration debate because we're the only
ones doing anything.
The next phase of this effort will be
SIMULTANEOUS DEMONSTRATIONS AT
THE OFFICES OF THREE KEY S.C. MEMBERS OF THE US HOUSE OF
REPRESENTATIVES – Trey Gowdy, Joe Wilson and Mark Sanford
– on November 3, THE DAY BEFORE THE ELECTION, all commencing at
10:30 AM. Please plan to participate – mark your calendar now,
won't you?
Details are below. We will appreciate
your help on this even more than usual – we know it's a sacrifice
to be there on a Monday, but as many of you have noted through the
years, it's on weekdays that the politicians and their staff are in
attendance, and that's often when foot and car traffic is strongest.
THIS
WILL BE A FIRST in our history – an effort to attract media
attention in three major TV markets at once! Thus it will
be YOUR unusual opportunity to put our message across to large
numbers of people if you wish. (Not everybody has to speak to
reporters, but everybody who turns out and helps swell the ranks will
be greatly helping the cause). It's really that simple – details
below. Please let us know if you plan to be there, preferably with a
carload of friends, family, neighbors and whoemever – or just show
up. Picket signs welcome – designs and slogans on request!
Needless to say, this occasion will
also give you the chance to voice your opinion to these
politicians' key staffers, and – who knows – perhaps to the
politicians directly!
